Meet the Port Charlotte Team
Alexa Santana, RMHCI
Alexa believes in creating a safe environment that fosters a meaningful therapeutic relationship in order to help her clients build the skills they need to reach their highest potential. Alexa obtained her Master's of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. Alexa offers counseling for children age 5 and up, adolescents and adults. Through the use of various modalities, including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play based techniques, treatment is tailored to meet her client's individual needs.
Amanda Warner, RCSWI
Amanda Warner graduated with her Masters of Social Work at the University of South Florida and holds an undergraduate degree in Religious Studies from American University in Washington, DC. She integrates a faith-based focus with evidence-based practices upon a client’s request. Amanda’s goal is to assist clients through providing support, encouragement and evidence-based treatment to empower them to make positive growth and change.
Amy Grose, RMHCI
Amy Grose obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Amy works with clients from age 2+, adolescents and adults. Amy helps individuals and couples over coming feelings of isolation, alienation, meaninglessness, and more.
Her treatment is trauma-informed and holistic, considering factors like spirituality/religion, dietary habits, self-care, and psycho education, tailored to the preferences of each client.
Anabel Perez, RMHCI
Anabel received her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University. She can be described as a dedicated and empathetic mental health clinician with an undeniable passion for helping others. Anabel enjoys working with individuals, particularly teens and adults, to navigate the complexities of life and is passionate about helping client’s regain control of their emotional well-being.
Christina Lerch, LMHC
Christina believes that most of our life struggles start with our wounds. We are all wounded. Let Christina walk down the path to recovery with you. Together, you will focus on your strengths, not your failures. Working with Christina you can expect a compassionate ear, so you feel heard without judgment. She understanding, healing, and safe environment. She offers an eclectic and individualized approach. No two therapy sessions are exactly alike.
Christine Volk, LMHC
Christine is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa, followed by her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Leo University. Christine’s approach to therapy tends to be eclectic to meet the individual needs of the client in their process of change.
Jennie Moses, LCSW
Jennie, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience working with children and in medical settings. She works primarily with adults completing assessments using a strength-based approach. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2005 and completed her Masters in Social Work in 2011, both from The Ohio State University. She strives to help clients see their strengths, build on those and create a healthier mindset.
Jennifer Gravesen, LMHC
Jennifer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with children and families experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment related concerns, issues related to adoption or foster care, parenting/co-parenting concerns, problems in school and with suicidal ideation or self-harming behaviors. Jennifer utilizes person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, play based therapy, EMDR, Child Parent Psychotherapy and the Circle of Security parenting program.
Kerrie Meyers, LMHC & CAP
Kerrie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional who enjoys working with young people. She enjoys assisting youth with life's many perspectives. She particularly likes working with elementary and middle school youth with anxiety, depression, behavior challenges and life transitions. Kerrie has seen excellent results from working with youth who learn to live life to the fullest, take appropriate risks, implement distress tolerance skills and soft interpersonal skills into their lives.
Kristin Perry, LMHC
Kristin graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a B.S. in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. Kristin has experience supporting clients who experience severe and persistent mental illness, substance use, domestic violence, child protective services involvement, juvenile justice involvement, homelessness, and within the immigrant and refugee population. Kristin uses a person-centered approach to therapy by meeting clients where they are.
Lori Davis, RCSWI, FDC, CPST
Lori received her Master’s degree in social work at Walden University, participating in the advanced standing class and graduated with honors. She earned her National Family Development Credential from The University of Connecticut in 2018. She is a member of Suncoast Safe Kids, and is trained as a child passenger safety technician. She has over 20 years of experience working with children and families, meeting each unique individual where they are in life.
Michelle Beasley, RCSWI
Michelle earned her Master's degree in Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University. Michelle has a passion for working with children and families and has experience serving those with behavioral challenges, mood disorders, anxiety, and stress. She aims to empower individuals to reach their full potential by creating goals, developing coping strategies to overcome obstacles, and addressing the client's unique needs by meeting them where they are in their mental health journey.
Nicole, Allen, RCSWI
Nicole received her Master's degree in Social Work and her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has experience working with adults, children, couples and families. Trauma, neurodiversity, anxiety, and depression are some of the areas Nicole enjoys working in. Nicole’s goal is to create a non-judgmental, safe, therapeutic relationship, while providing space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, increase in self-understanding, coping skills, and self-compassion.
Vanessa Lera, RMFTI (Virtual)
Vanessa obtained her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. Vanessa enjoys working with children, young adults and families. She has been providing counseling services since 2018 and has experience working with children, families, individuals, and groups. Vanessa uses an eclectic approach to therapy that allows clients to identify and use their passions to learn and apply new skills for well-being.
Rebekkah Schwartz, LCSW, EMDR Trained (Virtual)
Rebekkah enjoys working with children and adults (10 years old and up) who are experiencing trauma and/or anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. Rebekkah provides a safe space for healing to occur. She enjoys helping people find balance and grounding. Rebekkah provides clients with tools to help them manage stress and anxiety, work through unpleasant past experiences, and uncover their strengths.
