David received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Addictions Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a Registered Mental Health Clinician Intern, is a Certified Master's Level Addiction Professional (MCAP) and a Nationally Certified Counselor. David enjoys assisting individuals from a holistic perspective and utilizes therapeutic approaches and modalities based on the needs of the client with a major emphasis upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Existential Therapy, and Person-Centered Approaches. David has experience working with children/adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use/abuse, grief/loss, veteran’s issues, couples’ treatment, trauma, and adjustment concerns. David believes that the therapeutic relationship is of the utmost importance in the healing process and strives to make the individual or family comfortable and at ease with the process of therapy.
