Vicki Glabb

LMHC

Vicki Glabb is a trauma-informed therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life's most difficult challenges—whether those challenges stem from personal trauma, relationship dynamics, or the unique experiences of military life. Her approach is eclectic and tailored to the specific needs of each client, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based, Narrative, and Interpersonal/Systemic techniques. Vicki is also open to incorporating Christian/Catholic perspectives when desired, all with the goal of creating a safe and empowering space for clients to heal, grow, and rediscover their strength.

Vicki is particularly passionate about helping individuals, especially women reclaim their identity and strength after trauma. Many of her clients come to her seeking help with unresolved childhood trauma, relationship struggles, or difficulties navigating abusive or narcissistic dynamics. Vicki provides a non-judgmental, compassionate space where clients are heard, supported, and empowered to walk away from toxic relationships. She helps individuals understand their worth, set healthy boundaries, and discover what a healthy relationship should look like; whether it’s with parents, partners, or themselves.

Growing up in Northern Virginia, Vicki was surrounded by a community of military families. With her father working in Washington, D.C., but not having a military background herself, she quickly learned what it meant to feel like an outsider. Many of her classmates’ families transferred every few years, making friendships transient, and creating a sense of impermanence. This experience gave her a deep empathy for individuals who struggle with loss, change, and the impact of generational trauma.

In addition to her work with military families, Vicki specializes in divorce and co-parenting issues. She supports individuals through the emotional complexities of separation and the healing process after the end of a relationship. Vicki helps her clients move beyond the anger and hurt of a breakup to focus on practical solutions that prioritize the best interests of children, ensuring that healing and growth are at the forefront.

Vicki understands how difficult it can be to find a therapist who truly understands your struggles, particularly when balancing the unique challenges of life with personal trauma. Though she doesn’t have a singular "ideal client," Vicki believes in meeting each person where they are, offering the individualized support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

If you're looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you without judgment, helping you heal from childhood trauma, build healthier relationships, or navigate difficult life transitions, Vicki invites you to reach out. Whether you are seeking to reclaim your identity after trauma or simply want to build a stronger, more resilient future, Vicki is here to support you.

Where there’s a need, Vicki will be there—ready to help you heal and move forward.
